She is the paternal granddaughter of Bhalindra Singh and the great-granddaughter of the Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. In 2021, Kumari co-founded Saurab Rajeshwari, a luxury Indian clothing and embroidery brand based on traditional Patiala-style Punjabi fashion.
